GENESIS 3:24

This image, painted entirely in the computer, came about as the result of loose speculation about gender roles in contemporary Western society, their source in religious doctrine and their effect on policymaking at a global level.

The concept that man is created in the image of God, from the Judeo-Christian story of Genesis, becomes the basis for the threat that we make against ourselves, to expel ourselves as a species from the Eden that is the planet Earth, with the flaming sword of nuclear annihilation or the destruction of the environment.
