This is the material I received from Jon about the reunion.   The reunion took place June 23 and 24, 2000.

Dear John,

It was a pleasure talking with you on the phone. I have availability in both June and July of 2000 for a gathering of Barlow School alumnae. I would recommend planning for mid-to-late June as the graduations in the area have finished at this time.

I would suggest a Friday evening cocktail party with your guest's arrival at 6:30 in the cellar. There would be a formal tour and tasting, with a question and answer period to follow at 7:00pm and then guests could feel free to wander up to the dining room and deck area for the party and buffet. The evening will conclude at 10.30, with your guests' final departure by 11:00pm. The facility fee ($450) that is incurred will guarantee your exclusive use of the winery property on the evening of the event from 6:30pm - 11:00pm, this fee also covers all service and labor fees incurred for staff members on the evening of the event.

With regard to wines, you may want to begin the evening with a toast of sparkling wine from local Clinton Vineyards; it is produced in the traditional Methode Champenoise. If you chose to provide your own alcohol in addition to our wines, there would be a $5.00 corkage fee per bottle that would cover the cost of bar materials. I have included a menu that has worked well for this type of event in the past, with open buffet stations that satisfy everyone's hunger and provide a casual atmosphere in which to mingle and enjoy. The menu price is per person and exclusive of tax, wine and gratuity.

I have also included a quote that will give you an idea of your expenses for the evening: this quote includes wine, facility fees, special labels and the menu cost. The tax and gratuity estimates are based on an attendance of eighty guests. I have also included the price for flowers and site decorating if you are interested in these options.

I have also included an accommodation list - The Interlaken Inn in Lakeville is clean and can provide 183 rooms.
